About Julie Aqua
Julie Aqua has been practicing yoga since 2001, and teaching under Yoga Alliance since 2012. Julie’s practice comes from intensive studies of Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hot Anusara, and Yin yoga. She has developed asana curricula for pro and aspiring athletes, and trained in yoga as a physical therapy to rehabilitate common injuries, and to isolate and strengthen supporting structures.
Julie's current emphasis on aerial yoga comes from many years of experience with aerial silks sports and arts. Under Flash Aerial Julie has developed a one-of-a-kind aerial yoga flow performed entirely in the air, bringing students' focus to their mind-body connection in a radically new way.
Julie is an Experienced Registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance, and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider.
